Horsehair Hand Dust Brush
This amazing little Redecker hand broom is....amazing. I use it all the time for what ever calls for it: sweeping off the work table of bits and what-not, or the piles collected from the Redecker Horse Hair big broom, (you should read that review and you'll understand my passion ;-) dog hair off the stair risers, or ledges and windowsills, window screens, etc. This Redecker Hand Dust Brush is ever so sturdy, has a comfy handle, and sweeps up every bit of whatever is spilled, even powders! An heirloom for sure.
...We had a locksmith to our home who had to drill a hole in the door. He was using his hand to collect the sawdust left behind. I said, "Oh, here, don't worry about that!" and I handed him the Redecker Horse Hair hand Brush. His eyes got all big and melancholy and he held the broom gently, brushing its hair. Yes. He said, "I used to have one of these, had it for years, then I left it somewhere." I was very tempted to gift him mine just for the look on his face. But. I panicked thinking, what if Helen's shop is sold out and I can't another to replace it? Suffice it to say, I directed him to Helen Milan's shop. I do hope he got one for himself.
This Redecker Horse Hair hand Dust Brush is useful, beautiful and best of all, hand made by gifted artisans in Germany. It hangs adoringly on my peg rack in my kitchen next to the Redecker Horse Hair broom ever on the ready.
