This is the cutest bin ever. Keep in mind that it’s not a compost bin in the traditional sense. It’s for keeping scraps for a week or so then taking outside to garden or larger compost. This was confusing until it was explained to me. I love my compost bin and I compost so much more now that I have it.

Unfortunately I cannot consider a product that is Made in China sustainable. I should have done my research prior to purchasing. Looks decent on the kitchen counter but Made in America would look and feel so much better. Too bad.

Hello Julie, thanks for your comment! Our compost bins are made from post-industrial bamboo fiber, one of the most sustainable materials available. While many products made in China are to be avoided, the Bamboozle compost bin is definitely not one of them! Please read our article What’s True About Bamboo.
