Omori Warosoku Sumac Ha-ze Meditation Candles

Traditionally made Japanese Sumac candles burn with a large, bright flame. Burn for short meditations and keep the wick trimmed with a wick trimmer between sessions.

A spiked candle stand is required for traditional paper wick candles. Pairs with our Omori Warosoku candlestick holders.

The Omori Warosoku candle workshop is located in the mountain town of Uchiko, in the Ehime Prefecture of Japan, where candle merchants produced wood wax from the Edo period (1603-1867) through to the Taisho period (1912-1926). Omori Warosoku has remained, and still uses traditional materials and methods today.

Do not place flammable materials near or above the candle. Keep in a ventilated space, but away from direct sunlight and wind. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
