Solid broom

Great quality. Feels soft and doesn’t scratch up the flood compared to your average broom. Looks almost too good that you don’t even wana mess it up. I used it a few times. Couple of the broom hairs fell off, but that’s expected. Overall good quality, shipped within time. Only 4 stars because replacement would be expensive after a few years use. Be gentle with it and it should last a long while, I just have a heavy hand.

The mundane can be beautiful

What can I say? I’m a sucker for quality and aesthetics. I endlessly searched for a broom that was not the terrible plastic and aluminum that I’d previously had ( everything stuck to the plastic bristles and the aluminum handles bent and eventually broke). I came across this broom and was skeptical about the price, but decided to splurge a bit, hoping I wouldn’t have to replace it for years and years.

Let me tell you, this broom is heirloom quality! Right out of the package it was so beautiful. It even sweeps fine dust like a dream! Now I’m browsing Helen Milan for more cleaning tools so that I can slowly replace my worn out things for beautiful, well crafted pieces.

Redecker Split Horse Hair Broom

This is a beautiful broom! The handle and head were different colored woods and arrived separately in excellent condition. I noticed a bit of shedding the first time I swept and am hoping that the shedding won't be a problem moving forward. It is light and works really well picking up very fine dirt/dust. I am looking forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

Redecker Split Horse Hair Broom

Sweeping the floor with the Redecker Split Horse hair broom, is like a new form of transcendental meditation ;-) The energetic and vibrational qualities of the hair and wood, together, as the broom glides across the floor seem to instill quietness and peace, and now, my house keeping has been elevated quite a few notches. Instead of the daily "chore" of sweeping flying dog hair, horse hay and boot droppings, sweeping has become something wonderfully pleasant. I walk around my house looking for something to sweep! "I'll get it" I say. "Let me get the broom!' I love this broom. It should be called something else besides a "broom"; something more elegant than that. My dog likes it too, a pre-cautionary tale. She follows the broom around trying to "catch" the horse. I must secure my beautiful broom out of reach from her or I know it will end up in her sharp-toothed mouth.

Added with the broom, I indulged in the Redecker goat-hair duster. I spent an entire day dusting. I hate dusting. My house shows that I hate dusting. But now, it's dusted. Everything is dusted and swept. Redecker products are heart-felt, heart-warming and I find them extraordinary and actually healing me and my home. How cool is that? There is finally the right tools for a job well done. You won't be disappointed.

Redecker Split Horse Hair Broom

i actually GASPED when i opened this package. i wanted to kiss this damn broom. it is absolutely going to hang like art in my home. how wonderful that something so beautiful is also so useful - grabs cat hair better than any synthetic broom. it felt crazy to spend $80 on a broom but it's worth more. i'm the queen of domesticity now, thanks helen.
